Brunswick Heads Facilites
Brunswick heads has a number of facilities for all members of the family to enjoy and explore. Forget the car and have a look at the many attractions that Brunswick Heads has to offer.
  1. First and foremost is the swimming, surfing and fishing at Brunswick Heads beach which is only a minutes walk away from our property.
  2. A short stroll away is Torrinkenna beach located at the head of the Brunswick Heads river which is an ideal location for children to swim in a safe area away from the surf of the main beach.
  3. The Brunswick Heads breakwater is an ideal location to watch boats entering and leaving the river and offers expansive views looking south to Byron Bay and it’s famous lighthouse and to the north towards Tweed Heads.
  4. The arm of the Brunswick river directly outside our property offers swimming, fishing, snorkelling and canoeing.
  5. Looking at the township Brunswick Heads offers a variety of takeaway food shops, coffee shops and restaurants as wells as a number of speciality shops including an antique shop, supermarket, chemist, fashion boutique, post office agency, the Commonwealth Bank and two service stations.
  6. Other facilities in the town include a park opposite the Brunswick River.
  7. Boats are available for hire in the town to explore the upstream reaches of the Brunswick heads river.
  8. There is also a rainforest river cruise available at Brunswick Heads which explores the hinterland. Morning and sunset cruises are available lasting two hours.
  9. The Brunswick River can also be explored by a Kayak river tour.
  10. The famous Brunswick Heads hotel is a centre piece of the township.
  11. The visitors centre offers a wide variety of information on what to do and what to see.
  12. Skateboards, bikes and scooters can be ridden at the skate park.
  13. The bowling club is located on the outskirts of town
Further Afield 
1. Stepping out of town the township of Mullumbimby is only ten minutes away.
2. Adjacent to Brunswick Heads is a shopping Centre at Ocean shores.
3. The famous location of Byron Bay is only a twenty minute driveway whilst Tweed Heads and the beginning of the Gold Coast can be reached in thirty minutes on the expressway.
4. The regional centre of Lismore can be reached in forty five minutes.
5. A game of golf can be enjoyed at the club at nearby Ocean shores.
6. Enjoy a scenic trip along the old Pacific Highway over the Burringbar range to Murwillumbah and all that town has to offer.
7. Brisbane is only one and half hours driveway.

Major Functions at Brunswick Heads
A number of major festivals are held at or near Brunswick Heads throughout the year. These include:-
  1. Brunswick Valley Woodchip Festival in January.
  2. Byron Bluefest in February at Tyagarah.
  3. Splendour in the grass Music festival at the North Byron Parklands in July.
  4. Byron2Brunswick Beach run in August.
